The Word of Truth
Throughout this Web site it will be obvious what we believe is the “word of truth” and why we believe it. We do not waiver on this point.
All of the messages on this Web site are done in the Authorized Version (KJV) which we believe and defend as the word of truth.
There are two sides to this controversy and you are either on one side or the other. Let Christ be the judge: He is the Word. He is God.
In 2 Timothy 2:15 the Lord exhorts us to study and to rightly divide the word of truth. We feel that the inclusion of this terminology is not to be taken lightly.
What is the word of truth, unless it is God’s Word? Don’t mess with God’s Word.
We believe God preserved His Word in the English language by the translation completed in 1611 in England under the reign of King James at a time when England had separated from the Roman Catholic Church.
As you can read in The Epistle Dedicatory included in the Cambridge KJV, the Authorized Version was a work “in defence of the truth…out of the Original Sacred Tongues…one more exact Translation of the holy Scriptures into the English Tongue…So that if…we shall be traduced by Popish Persons at home or abroad, who therefore will malign us, because we are poor instruments to make God’s Holy Truth to be yet more and more known unto the people, whom they desire still to keep in ignorance and darkness…” (See the Resources section for more information)
At that time, the Reformers did not consider the bible used by the Roman Catholic Church to be the “word of truth”. The Roman Church opposed any version of the Bible except their own, to which they forbade even their own laity (members) access. The Roman Church denounced the Authorized Version and eventually sponsored a Revised Version of the English Bible in 1881 using their corrupt (Alexandrain) manuscripts, which they claimed to be older, therefore more accurate. The AV uses the Syrian Manuscripts. The AV or KJV was the sole Protestant Bible in America until recent years.
The Word of God has been under attack since Genesis 3:1. The Authorized Version has been under attack since before its completion. Therefore it must be the truth.
Research will show that all modern versions of the Bible are “interpretations” and have as their root the 1881 Revision. They all use the same manuscripts. In their introduction they use the same criticism against the KJV. When you compare verses, they all basically agree with the Catholic version of the Bible. It appears that all modern versions of the Bible are merely Catholic versions under a deceptive name and cover. All modern versions help to keep the people in ignorance and darkness concerning the truth. Do your own research and comparison. Don’t believe the lies about the KJV. There has never been a “revision” of the Authorized Version.
